Note to Draft is committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content available on this platform infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a copyright infringement notification in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To request the removal of infringing content, please send an email to dmca@notetodraft.com with the following information:
- Your Contact Information: Include your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the Copyrighted Work: Provide a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. This may include details such as the title, author, and date of creation.
- Identification of the Infringing Content: Describe the specific content you believe to be infringing, including the URL(s) where the content is located on our platform. This helps us locate the material quickly.
- A Statement of Good Faith: Include a statement confirming that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Authorization Statement: Provide a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information you have provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable for an electronic signature).
Upon receiving a complete DMCA takedown notice, we will review the information provided. If the notice is valid, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and take additional actions as appropriate under the DMCA.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that content you have posted on Note to Draft was removed in error or is not infringing, you may submit a counter-notification. The counter-notification should include:
- Your contact information, including full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the content that was removed and the location where it appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district or, if outside the United States, your consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which Note to Draft may be found.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notifications should be sent to the same address at dmca@notetodraft.com. We will review counter-notifications upon receipt and may restore the content in accordance with the DMCA.
